Kate’s style is often described as classic, elegant, and sophisticated. She is known for favoring timeless pieces, tailored silhouettes, and feminine dresses. Additionally, her impeccable sense of occasion dressing, whether it’s for royal events or casual outings, has further solidified her reputation as a style icon.
Kate’s ability to mix high-end designer pieces with more affordable fashion brands has also contributed to her status as a fashion icon, as it makes her style more accessible and relatable to a wider audience. Bless her for shining a bright light on clothing rental when she rented a gown from an Armoire-ish company in the UK for an event promoting sustainability. Equipment is famous in its own right for its iconic silk shirts, particularly the button-up style. Rent Celebrity Style of Hillary Clinton
Zuri’s “Just One Dress”
While Hillary Clinton is not typically considered a style icon in the same sense as some other public figures, she has certainly made a significant impact in the realm of fashion and style. Clinton is known for her signature pantsuits, which have become synonymous with her political image, but it’s her love of Zuri’s “just one dress” that caught our eye.
Zuri is the brainchild of two American women living in Kenya, Sandra Zhao and Ashleigh Gersh Miller. They set out to design the perfect dress: wrinkle-proof, universally flattering, and appropriate for any occasion. The instantly iconic dress is crafted from bold, limited-run Dutch wax fabric that is playfully patterned. As Zuri’s marketing promises, the brand delivers “a single style for every woman. Meet your new all-day, everyday outfit.” Although the tagline “just one dress” has become synonymous with their brand, that one dress has been made in gazillions of show-stopping prints as well as a sleeveless version.
Hillary has been photographed in numerous Zuri dresses and is said to own a dozen of them, in rhythm with her long-standing style favoring appropriateness and practicality. During her time in the public eye as First Lady, Senator, Secretary of State, and presidential candidate, she became known for so much more than her clothes—a welcome change for powerful women.

“Another super fun pattern by Zuri! This dress has an excellent shape- could easily be paired with tights, jeans, or leggings. In a climate like Seattle this garment works for year round wear! The fit is loose and leaves plenty of space for a variety of body shapes.”

Rent Celebrity Style of Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis
Lilly Pulitzer’s Shift Dress

Long before Armoire Clothing Rental was born, women were desperate to get their hands on a Lilly Pulitzer shift dress.
The Lilly Pulitzer brand has an origin story as colorful as its apparel. It all began with Lilly Pulitzer herself, who was born Lilly McKim in 1931 in New York. In 1952, she married Peter Pulitzer, the grandson of newspaper publisher Joseph Pulitzer, and the couple settled in Palm Beach, Florida.
In 1959, Lilly opened a juice stand in Palm Beach, which quickly became a popular spot among the socialites of the area. To camouflage the juice stains that inevitably ended up on her clothes, Lilly began designing brightly colored, simple shift dresses made from vibrant fabrics. The dresses caught the eye of Lilly’s customers.
The popularity of Lilly’s dresses grew rapidly, and she soon found herself transitioning from juice stand owner to fashion designer. In 1960, she officially launched her clothing brand, Lilly Pulitzer, with the slogan “It’s Always Summer Somewhere.”
One of the key moments that catapulted the brand to national attention was when Jacqueline Kennedy, then the First Lady of the United States, was photographed wearing a Lilly Pulitzer dress while on vacation in Palm Beach and on the cover of Life Magazine. Of course, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was highly influential in fashion; her sense of style and elegance captivated the American public and garnered attention worldwide. Jackie made a conscious effort to promote American designers, and Lilly had an inside track. The two were classmates at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Connecticut.
Today, the Lilly Pulitzer brand remains synonymous with colorful, preppy resort wear and continues to offer its iconic shift dress.
